THE FIRST REIMAGINED ELVIS TRACK THAT WORKS

I’m pretty worn out on the idea of putting new backgrounds with old vocals, so when I read about the “new’ Elvis album “Where No One Stands Alone” using that concept, it didn’t move me much. Then I heard the initial sample from the album and for the first time I really got excited – vocals from the ’68 special with Elvis fighting for his life, and a background to match that intensity.
I can’t expect anything else on the compilation to be as good as this, but it’s gotta be better than the wimpy symphony backgrounds of the past few albums.
This is a GREAT track – play it loud!
